Castle High School Locked Down Wednesday Morning
A Warrick County, Indiana high school was in lock-down mode Wednesday
morning, after a reported threat on Facebook.
According to reports from the Evansville Courier and Press and WEHT-TV, Castle High School went into lock-down after a 16 year old male student posted an alarming poem on his Facebook wall.
School Corporation authorities say
the post was reported to the school by a parent.
Warrick County Superintendent Brad Schneider said school officials take every threat seriously, and this one was a “vivid and very violent post threatening students at Castle High School."
The 16-year old student, who was not at school, was located before 9:00 a.m.
According to the Courier and Press the lock-down was cancelled by 9:00
a.m.
